Accepting How God Made Me!

Psalm 139:13-18

I.                     I am not an accident!

a.      God was making and forming Isaiah from the womb Isaiah 44:2, 24

b.      His hands made and fashioned Job like the potter forming clay Job 10:8-9

c.      The way I am made causes admiration and astonishment Psalm 139:14

d.      As His child I am to recognize very well that my life, creation, etc is marvelous Psalm 139:14

II.                   He made me with a purpose

a.      He made me intentionally in secret but fully knowing what He was doing Psalm 139:15

b.      We didn’t make ourselves He did Psalm 100:3

c.      Before Jeremiah was formed or born God had a purpose for his life Jeremiah 1:5. He separated him to himself, He made him a prophet

d.      He had a plan for Isaiah from the very womb Isaiah 49:1

                                                              i.      He formed him in womb Isaiah 49:5

                                                            ii.      He called him his name even in the womb Isaiah 49:1

e.      Did you ever think you were born for this? Or that He has a specific purpose for your life?

f.        Has he made you and preserved you for a purpose?

III.                  My making was written then fashioned Psalm 139:16

a.      You were made exactly like He wants you to be Psalm 139:16

                                                              i.      He watched when you were nothing and formed you

                                                            ii.      He planned, made a note, and then fashioned you

b.      Definite unchangeables

                                                              i.      My parents, My time in history, My race, My nationality

                                                            ii.      My physical features, my mental capacity, My aging

c.      He has precious thoughts towards me Psalm 139:17

                                                              i.      When I think of what He thinks of me

                                                            ii.      When He thinks of me

d.      I was made to be the frame to show forth the picture—Jesus Christ
