Justification
Romans 3:24-28
I. The Problem

i. The law accuses us John 5:45
ii. Our conscience accuses us Romans 2:15

iv. Charges have been placed against us Colossians 2:14
c. Sins must be paid for
i. Sin will not get into Heaven I Corinthians 6:9-10
ii. People are cursed if they do not continue in all the law Galatians 3:10
II. The Provision
a. Sinless Sacrifice
i. Knew no sin became sin II Corinthians 5:21
ii. He became our curse Galatians 3:13
iii. He carried our sin Isaiah 53:4-6
b. We have a lawyer I John 2:1, 2
c. Our lawyer not only pays our sin debt He becomes our propitiation
III. The Promise
a. He is the just and the justifier Romans 3:26
b. Justified freely by his grace Romans 3:24
c. Justified by faith without the deeds of the law Romans 3:28
d. Justified by his blood Romans 5:9
e. The changes that take place John 5:24
i. We were condemned John 3:18
ii. We now have eternal life
iii. We will not be condemned
iv. Moved from death to life

b. Give up your good works and your abilities Ephesians 2:8-9
c. Put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 16:31
