I. What is a Crisis Man?

Mat_9:29

"According to your faith be it unto you."  Many times in the Word of God we see that Christ left a
city or did not do what He could have done or wanted to do only because of a lack of faith. The question for us would not be, "is God going to do a great work and/or does God desire to use us", the question is, "do you believe that God desires to do great things in and through your life." JWB

Mat_10:1,5 Giving others opportunity

The Bible says in verse one that He gave them power to do several things and it mentions those things. So many times we train people (or say we are training people) but then never give them a chance to put into practice the things we have taught them. I believe there are a lot of people sitting in the pews of our churches that have the head knowledge, but no practical experience. After Jesus had taught them what they needed to do in verse 5 He sends them out with instructions. Are we giving those around us opportunities to serve God or are we afraid they will take over our ministry if we let them do something? JAH

Mat_10:8 - "freely ye have received, freely give." God has given us the gift of life, daily blessings,
endless mercy and much more, ... are we keeping everything to ourselves? While millions never have heard about the first coming of Christ, we take for granted the knowledge of the second coming. We go along our day with the peace and happiness always making sure to ask more from God, ... but have we forgotten about the many who need the Savior, who are without hope?! We have freely received the gift of God and as debtors we can NOT nonchalantly walk through this life without giving to others what we have freely been given. JWB

Mat_16:1

Only those people who do not know the true identity of our Lord desire a sign from Him. Some miss obedience altogether for this very reason. The wait around for a "sign" that He has called them into His service and end up spending their life on the world. He has commanded us to go into all the world, preaching the gospel and making disciples of all nations. Those that know who He really is need no sign at all to submit to Him and obey His command.  JDB

Matthew 28:19 “GO YE”

There are 2 groups of people living in the world today. They are the whosever’s and the ye’s. The whosever’s are talked about in Romans 10:13, where the Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That means if you are a whosever, you are someone that needs to accept Jesus Christ and get saved. The ye’s are talked about in this verse where the Bible says, “GO YE.” Once you have accepted Jesus Christ there is no other alternative than to go tell others about Jesus. So many times we are looking for a different meaning to “GO YE” but we need to stop philosophizing, and start doing what Christ has commanded us to do. JAH
