I believe God has indeed been preparing me this past decade to see some great things done. I ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting us, the Canfield family, as we seek to see the world evangelized in our generation.
THE CANFIELD FAMILY
We are Robert, Kelli, Maria, Charlotte, and Ann Canfield, missionaries for the continent of Africa. I want to explain how the Lord has prepared and guided us to this unique ministry. We are asking you and your church to consider supporting us as we seek to expand Christ’s kingdom further. We would love an opportunity to present our ministry. God bless, and thank you for your consideration.
One of my most cherished roles was that of the personal assistant to Pastor Austin Gardner. I became the personal assistant to Pastor Gardner in 2010. It was a fantastic experience where I could learn ministry from a man whose heart is to see the world evangelized in this generation. I have learned so much from working so closely with Pastor Gardner. It has been a great honor for me to fulfill this role.
The Lord has blessed me and my wife with the opportunity to have been involved with Vision Baptist Church for more than a decade. I have been on staff for ten years. I have been an Assistant Pastor and have worked in every ministry of the church. God has been good to me and has allowed me to lead people to the Lord, disciple men, counsel with families, and even see young men called to full-time service for the Lord out of my ministry. As of January 1, 2020, I have resigned as Assistant Pastor to become the Africa Representative for Vision Baptist Missions.
In 2011, the Lord allowed me to become the Director of the Our Generation Training Center. Since then, we have seen 25 students graduate from the Our Generation Training Center. Of those 25 students, 21 of them are currently involved in missions full-time. I am not interested in simply seeing students graduate; I want to raise up trained laborers for the field. I teach multiple classes a trimester to all the students. Additionally, I teach the men how to do ministry with hands-on training, and I also oversee all that goes on in the O.G.T.C. My goal is to see the O.G.T.C. continue to grow and see more young men and women adequately trained so that they will be effective once they arrive on the field. I have a saying here at the O.G.T.C.: “Missions Training is Character Building.”
