From 2009-2016, I attended The Crown College of the Bible in Powell, TN. During that time I received a lot of ministry experience with several different ministries. God also allowed me to travel abroad to Crown UK for one year, to North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and to Nepal during my college training. I also attended Crown SW and Norris Seminary in 2013-2014 for one year.
God gave me exciting opportunities to serve on pastoral staff during my College years. I was able to serve on staff at Hickory Creek Baptist Church in Tx, and Providence Baptist Church in Fl. I admire my Pastors, and I appreciate the time they spend to teach me what it means to love God, love people, and serve them.
While at those churches I was able to learn several different ministry aspects, including preaching, Sunday school, youth director, choir leader, congregational song leading, assistant pastor, organizing and planning special ministries, soul-winning. I treasured mostly learning and spending time with the men of God who put their time into me.
I arrived at Vision in 2018 and loved every minute here. When I came here, I was seeking God’s direction in my life, and God gave me what I was seeking for (Luke 11:9-10). I received training for foreign missions by attending every class, read several books, and personally learned from Austin Gardner (Pastor), Jeff Bush (Mission Director), and many of the missionaries who were trained here.
I value my time with Vision and its staff and its people. I learned: what it means to be a missionary, the importance of training nationals to be pastors and church staff, what an indigenous church is supposed to be, and so much more.
