I was saved at the age of 14 and surrendered to the call to preach about a year later. I graduated from Crown College of the Bible in 2002 and Luther Rice Seminary around 2010. After college, the Lord eventually guided me to South Africa where I met my wonderful wife Corli. She is an Afrikaaner. She and her family were saved through God sending a missionary to her city in Bloemfontein, SA to start a church and preach the gospel. I couldn’t do what I do without her. God has used my wife to teach and disciple many women to serve Christ! We have three awesome children Clark, Hudson and Lana. We are super grateful for how God has used our lives. Our family serves as missionaries sent out of Whitfield Baptist Church in Dalton, GA, Pastor Wayne Cofield.
We have served as church-planting missionaries to the country of South Africa since 2003. A country of 11 official languages and almost 60 million people. We are based in the city of Port Elizabeth at the bottom of Africa, a city of over a million people. We worked primarily amongst the Xhosa people for the first 10 years and for the last 4 years have worked in a more multicultural setting. We started by setting out to learn the Xhosa language, then planting our first church, Madiba Bay Baptist Church. Our focus has always been on training young men to become pastors, church planters and even missionaries to multiply our church planting efforts. Lord willing, we hope to see greater works accomplished in the near future!
