At the age of 17, Mark made the best decision of his life; he repented of his sin and put his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Shortly after, he knew he wanted to serve God with his life in missions. At the age of 19, he surrendered to go to China.
After high school, he started to attend Bible College. In May 2007, he graduated from the Our Generation Training Center. He also met his wife, Natasha, and they were married in August of the same year. Both of them served and trained at their local church, Vision Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Austin Gardner. During their time there, they were mentored, trained, and involved in local church ministry. In January 2009, they started full-time deputation.
After a fruitful deputation, they left for the field in 2010. Over the years, they have seen souls saved, baptized, and discipled. They have been able to plant churches, train men for the ministry, and equip national leadership. Another aspect of our ministry has been to produce Biblical materials and resources in the Chinese language to help edify the local believers and churches. Glory to God for the great work He has done.
In November 2019, after returning to China upon completing a furlough, Mark was informed that he was being sought after to be deported. After council and prayer, they concluded that the Lord was leading them away from living on the mainland to living on the island of Taiwan, where they are continuing their church planting ministry and still reaching into China.
In 2020, Mark was given the opportunity to start serving as the Asia Director for Vision Baptist Missions. This role of service to other missionaries allows him to encourage them in their field of service, equip them to accomplish what God has called them to do, and enlist more laborers to the harvest fields of Asia.
