Miguel Sanabria

Church Planting Missionary to Colombia since 2015

Miguel’s parents moved to America from Colombia when he was 12, lost and on his way to hell. By God’s plan, an uncle of his was witnessed to by a missionary at a Starbucks in Alpharetta, GA. After that day the missionary that witnessed to his uncle started Bible studies at his uncle’s home, that is where Miguel heard about Christ and what He had done to pay for his sin debt. After hearing the gospel many times, he decided to repent of his sin and trust in Christ as his Lord and Savior.

In the summer of 2011, Miguel went to his first missions camp hosted by Vision Baptist Church in which God worked in his heart about how great of a need there is around the world. It was in that camp that God called him to be a missionary to a lost world. Today he is a church planting missionary in the country of Colombia. He left Colombia to find the American dream but instead he found a new life in Christ, and now he is back to share the truth to his home country.

Mariangela grew up attending church and assumed she was saved just because her family was. She realized later on that she was completely wrong but pride kept her from seeking God. In 2005 she went on a missions trip to one of the Islands in the Philippines. While there she was asked to witness to someone. She started reading and explaining the Romans road, as she had learned growing up in Sunday school. But reading those verses that day made her realize that she was lost and in need of a Savior. That day Mariangela repented of her sin and accepted Christ’s free gift of Salvation.

Today both Miguel and Mariangela are having the time of their lives serving God in Colombia. Their desire is to continue in the work of God preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, training leaders and planting more churches.
