Sam was born into a Christian family and was blessed to be involved in missions to the British Virgin Islands as a child. He was saved at fourteen in a Christian Summer Camp at Camp Carson in Tennessee. Shortly after that, Sam joined Victory Chapel Baptist Church in Conestee, SC where he has been able to be involved in the Camp, Children’s, Missions, and Bible Institute ministries.
At the end of his college career, Sam knew the Lord wanted him involved in missions but he did not feel he had the practical knowledge to do the work. The Lord gave him the opportunity to work with Travis Snode in Northern Ireland for a year. This turned into three years in which Sam was allowed to be song leader, assistant pastor, camp director, and pastor for a year while the Snodes were on furlough. The experience he gained there was a great blessing! The Lord has now given Sam the burden to return to the United Kingdom to be a church-planting, leader-training missionary.
Beth grew up in a Christian home and realized after church one day that she was lost and needed a Savior. At the age of 5, she put her faith and trust in Christ and was born again. God allowed Beth to go on her first mission trip to Peru while she was in college. This is where God began to work in her heart about missions. A few years later, she got to go on a 6-week internship in North Africa. While in North Africa, God broke Beth’s heart for the Muslim people. Tyler and Gretchen Masters, who were the host missionaries, asked her if she would be willing to come back with them to help. So Beth left for the field September of 2013 and served 2.5 years in Tunisia.
In July 2015 Beth and Sam met through their friends at Vision Baptist Church. They were married on July 23, 2016. They have two children: their daughter, Ruby, who was born on December 22, 2017, and their son, William, who was born on June 30, 2019. They are excited to see the Lord use their family in the United Kingdom!
