World Evangelism News, China

I am sure that you have heard of the difficulties our missionaries to China are experiencing. John Walz was the first Vision Baptist Missionary to be kicked out of China. He has moved to Taiwan and is being greatly used of God there. Several young men are training for ministry. A church has been planted and others are soon to follow. What Satan meant for evil God has turned to good.

Recently the Mark Tolson family ran into similar problems in China. They had already planted a church and trained several for ministry in China. The church in China is suffering persecution. Pastors have been detained. They have actually been tortured for their faith. These are men that we have had the privilege of meeting.

Mark was the first missionary out of Vision Baptist Church and the driving force behind starting Vision Baptist Missions. Mark and Natasha from one day to the next had to leave their country, the one they felt God had sent them to, and start all over in Taiwan. They suffered the lost of all their household, their vehicle, etc. God will use them greatly in Taiwan but this is a call for you to pray for China.

Things are apparently getting worse. The persecution is rising. Now today an article comes out entitled Chinese Citizens Must Scan Their Faces to Register for New Mobile-Phone Service. Another article with similar material is found here

What will all this mean for the ministry in China? This is hard and discouraging for the missionaries that get kicked out. Will you pray? Will you reach out to these missionaries and encourage them?

We are still sending more missionaries. We must evangelize the world while we can. Please pray. Please support one of the church planting missionaries to China.
